Plot Summary
In the not-too-distant future the aging gene has been switched off. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, while the rest try to negotiate for their immortality. A poor young man who comes into a fortune of time, though too late to help his mother from dying. Actiunea filmului se petrece undeva in viitor unde procesul de imbatranire a fost schimbata, oamenii trebuie sa plateasca pentru a ramane in viata. Oamenii se opresc din imbatranire la varsta de 25 de ani. Cu toate acestea, pe bratul lor este stampilat un ceas care indica cat de mult vor tra, defapt cat timp mai au de trait. Pentru a evita suprapopularea, timpul a devenit moneda si modul in care oamenii platesc pentru lux si necesitati. Cei bogati pot trai pentru totdeauna, in timp ce restul incearca sanegocieze pentru nemurirea lor. Untanar sarac este acuzat de crima atunci cand el mosteneste o avere de timp de la un barbat mort de clasa superioara. El este fortat sa fuga de forta politista corupta FBI, cunoscuta si ca "Cronometrorii".
