Plot Summary
Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan team up for the Warner Bros. police buddy movie Cop Out in this Kevin Smith-directed production. From a script by Robb and Mark Cullen, the story centers around police detectives Jimmy (Willis), a no-B.S. divorced dad, and Paul (Morgan), a crazy-talking loose cannon. Despite nine years as partners, the two lawmen can still sometimes seem like polar opposites -- especially when Paul's unpredictable antics get them suspended without pay. Already strapped for cash and trying to pay for his daughter's wedding, Jimmy decides to sell a rare baseball card that's worth tens of thousands. Unfortunately, when the collector's shop is robbed and the card vanishes with the crook, Paul and Jimmy end up going rogue, tracking down the card and the drug ring behind its theft, all on their own time, and without any backup -- except for each other.

Doi politisti cu experienta pe nume Jimmy si Paul primesc misiunea de a gasi un cartonas de baseball foarte valoros din anul 1952, care a fost furat si a carui comercializare ar putea insemna dobandirea unui uriase sume de bani de catre hot. In timp ce se implica in tot felul de aventuri periculoase si amuzante cu scopul de a localiza cartonasul furat, detectivii de politie gasesc un automobil Mercedes in al carui portbagaj se afla o frumoasa mexicanca pe nume Gabriela. Femeia a fost amanta unui cap al mafiei mexicane si reprezinta cheia spre milioanele de dolari provenite din vanzarea de droguri, motiv pentru care este urmarita cu asiduitate de catre gangsteri.
Dupa ce o salveaza pe Gabriela si o protejeaza de mafiotii care o urmaresc, Paul incepe sa se simta atras de ea, spre deosebire de Jimmy care se tine la distanta de femeie. Jimmy Monroe intentioneaza sa vanda el insusi cartonasul de baseball pentru a castiga banii necesari organizarii nuntii fiicei sale.
