Plot Summary
Milo Boyd (Gerard Butler), a down-on-his-luck bounty hunter, gets his dream job when he is assigned to track down his bail-jumping ex-wife, reporter Nicole Hurly (Jennifer Aniston). He thinks all that's ahead is an easy payday, but when Nicole gives him the slip so she can chase a lead on a murder cover-up, Milo realizes that nothing ever goes simply with him and Nicole. The exes continually one-up each other - until they find themselves on the run for their lives. They thought their promise to love, honor and obey was tough - staying alive is going to be a whole lot tougher.

Milo este un fost politist transformat in vanator de recompense care primeste misiunea de a aresta si a aduce in fata justitiei o femeie ce a savarsit o infractiune marunta, a fost eliberata pe cautiune si a omis sa se prezinte la proces la data stabilita. Pana aici nimic spectaculos, insa situatia se complica atunci cand Milo isi da seama ca femeia in cauza este chiar fosta lui sotie Cassidy Daley, cu care a avut o casnicie turbulenta si plina de scantei, dar nelipsita de pasiune. Desi noua slujba ii impune sa nu se implice emotional in misiunile sale, Milo nu poate ramane detasat si indiferent in momentul in care este vorba de Cassidy, iar intre cei doi izbucnesc o serie de conflicte amuzante si un schimb de replici acide si sarcastice. In vreme ce Milo se straduieste fara succes sa o aresteze, Cassidy Daley perfecteaza tot felul de trucuri ingenioase pentru a-i distrage atentia fostului sot si a scapa, pe parcursul derularii evenimentelor fiind in pericol de a se indragosti din nou de el.
