Plot Summary
Derek Thompson is 'The Tooth Fairy,' a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster's hopes, he's sentenced to one week's hard labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand. At first, Derek "can't handle the tooth" – bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers' homes…doing what tooth fairies do. Derek Thompson este un extrem de dur jucator de hochei, supranumit Tooth Fairy pentru ca are obiceiul sangeros de a zdrobi dintii adversarilor. Ca pedeapsa pentru deziluzionarea unui copil, trebuie sa trudeasca o saptamana pentru toti infantii care spera ca Zana Maseluta le va implini toate dorintele. Si cum altfel este obligat Derek sa-si ispaseasca vina decat devenind el insusi o zana maseluta veritabila, cu rochita, aripioare si bagheta magica. Desi la inceput brutalul jucator de hochei bombaneste nemultumit de noul sau "statut", incet-incet isi da seama ca, pe parcurs, si-a pierdut/abandonat visele din copilarie.
